Indeed, we are convinced that this continental climate is ideal for the correct curing/drying of cork. And this, we guarantee, by the experience accumulated in the last 22 years, and the following facts:
– A low environmental humidity throughout the year, comparatively speaking with other cork regions of the world.
– A temperature difference between summer and winter of more than 50° centigrade.
Take as an example of this last point that, just 7 days ago, in our town we had between 25 and 28° and today, April 21, we have touched 0° (demonstrative example, the 2 photos that we attach).
And fortunately, these gifts of nature to our raw material are free.
